The book, all 96 000 words was finished early in 2015. It spent alot of time being edited and tweaked to get it to a point I felt it was good enough to send out into the big wide world.
My baby was ready to be published.
But...
Over a year latter I have approached 17 different agent, all chosen as they had published books in the genre before.
In that time I have received three positive replies - I/we loved the book but ... I/we hope you find someone else to publish it. Or or usually a short standard email or no reply at all.
A bit of a dead end then...
So I have come to a decision. I will publish "Book of Spells" as an ebook.
I wrote it purely for pleasure, and if others get pleasure from reading the tale then that will be a bonus. At least it will not be sitting on my hard drive collecting the electronic equivalent of dust!
I have a bit more research to do working out the best way to go about this. Read that as cheapest and still effective, but should hopefully be able to provide a link where you will be able to get a copy.
So here's to Pyewacket and co being unleashed onto the world for others to read.
